Buck Cole, Sunset Valley's new chief of police, quickly finds himself clashing headlong with a powerful drug cartel in the sleepy little town he's sworn to serve and protect. He begins slowly by closing down small time dealers and eventually, with the aid of a dying woman, is able to halt the cartel's operations... for awhile, at least. However, amid his successful pursuit of the drug dealers, he lets his heart take over.
